The Rebels (1‑6) got their first win of the season on a
last-second field goal by Ryan Succop after allowing the Lakers (3‑4) to
erase a 27‑13 deficit. Matt Cassel of Richmond passed for 323 yards and a pair
of touchdowns to Steve Smith.

Terrence McGee had 2 interceptions as the Comets (4‑3) built a 17-point lead and
